New York, New York, May 11, 2010 - Joseph Marchese, Supervisor, Spokane, provided yet another demonstration of the Guardsmark Difference on May 11, 2010, when his quick thinking and decisive action prevented a successful bank robbery at a client site in downtown Spokane, Washington.
At 9:21 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time, Marchese apprehended and detained a man who had just taken money from a teller at the bank. He immediately called police, who upon their arrival arrested the man and recovered all of the stolen money.
“Joe Marchese is a hero in Spokane, Washington, today,” said Guardsmark Founder and Chairman Ira A. Lipman in an announcement of Marchese’s heroics. “He attributes his success to Learning and Development monthly bulletins and the total support of our organization.

Marchese, 53, joined the Guardsmark team in December 2007 as a Security Officer and was promoted to Supervisor in May 2008. He has excelled under the leadership of Paul M. Watson, Manager, Manager Business Development, Spokane, who said that he was not surprised by Marchese’s excellence. “I have always felt that Joe was one of the strongest and most impressive employees we have in our entire region,” Watson said. “actions on May 11 re-emphasize the point that he does a terrific job.”
