Guardsmark Reports record Revenues for second QUARTER, FIRST SIX MONTHS of fiscal year 2008, and calendar year 2007

NEW YORK, October 25, 2007-Guardsmark, LLC, one of the world’s largest security services firms, announced today record revenues for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007.

Guardsmark revenues for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007, were $551,623,884, an increase of $8,500,278 over fiscal year 2006 revenues of $543,123,606. For the past 28 years, after being a public company from 1970 to 1979, privately owned Guardsmark has achieved an impressive compound annual growth rate of 10.5 percent without a single merger or acquisition.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) also reached all-time record levels in fiscal year 2007.

The Guardsmark brand has been synonymous with excellence since Ira A. Lipman founded the company in 1963. By employing and retaining the best-qualified security professionals and consistently focusing on client service, Guardsmark has earned what is believed to be the highest customer retention rate in the industry.

Guardsmark believes that business and industry must coordinate their efforts with the government at all levels to prepare for and respond to threats such as terrorism, natural disasters and global pandemics. As part of its ongoing commitment to exceeding client expectations, Guardsmark provides innovative and value-added security services such as business continuity planning and risk assessment to many Fortune 1000 companies, and an assortment of services directly related to improving safety. Whether identifying potential fire hazards or designing emergency evacuation routes, Guardsmark security professionals can help provide analyses of the possible threats to safety at a client facility. Guardsmark’s comprehensive approach to safety and risk management is reflected in its enviable experience modification factor (EMF) for worker’s compensation, which has averaged .56 for the past 25 years and is believed to be the lowest in the security industry. By supporting the clients’ risk management programs, Guardsmark assists in the protection of clients’ employees, customers and facilities from potentially devastating human and financial loss.

Guardsmark has achieved ISO 9001:2000 registration, the global gold standard for quality management, for all of its offices. It is the only large internationally-based security services firm to have earned registration of its quality management system for 100 percent of its branches for service, selection and design, further exemplifying the company’s commitment to excellence.

In addition to record revenues and EBITDA, fiscal year 2007 was a record-setting year for employment. In 2007 Guardsmark employed 19,467 team members, the highest number in the history of the company. Among full-time employees, Guardsmark achieved a record low turnover rate of 34.6 percent for the year. Extending an 18-year trend of declining turnover, this impressive retention rate is markedly higher than the industry standard and measurably better than rates published by other security companies. Factors contributing to this achievement include superior wages and benefits for Guardsmark employees plus substantial award programs based on performance and numerous opportunities for career development.

Guardsmark is the largest employer of former FBI agents in the world. Many who were leaders in the FBI are now among the company’s managers, including some of America’s top experts in counterterrorism, executive protection, workplace violence and organized crime. In addition, the company actively recruits men and women from public law enforcement, all branches of the U.S. military and former members of the U.S. Secret Service.

Guardsmark has become one of the most recognized names in private security with more than 155 offices throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, France and Singapore. For more information, go to www.guardsmark.com.
